HMAC

So...I work at a water park. And stealing the idea from my little sister, I am going to talk about what I like and don't like at work.
  • Probably the worst position is station twelve, at the Activity pool. Guarding the little kids is fun, but there is rarely a good time to guard there as it is directly in the sun and HOT.
  • The Lap pool is okay, but that is where the most saves happen. It is generally pretty boring and makes me want to fall asleep. Out of my 6 saves, at least four were in here.
  • The wave pool is usually not very fun. During twilight it is fun to be there because there are rarely saves during that time and you can goof off a little more. But during 1st session it is awful with all the day camps.
  • The Lazy river is...well...self explanatory...lazy. haha. You just sit there and tell kids to keep their hands above their tube. Not too hard. There have probably been like three saves at the lazy river in my three years of working at HMAC. And with the addition of megaphones you don't even have to yell. The perfect American stations.
  • The slides are by far my favorite. On warm days, it feels good to cool off. It is also nice to be close to the kids and talk to them. My five year oldness comes out at this station. Good times! It is also nice to feel needed when the kids come out and reach for you. They are so cute.

Anyway, HMAC in a nutshell.
