Shooting

Nathan, a guy that I work with, offered to take my and Matt shooting. We went today because it was a reading day. I was nervous because it was inside, but I thought it would be fun. Matt was really worried that I would be better than him though. :)

This place was in Springville. It was a party but kind of creepy. It was all dark inside and everything.

This is Nathan. He is pretty cool.

Here are the 22s. Matt was the top left corner, I was the top right, and Nathan was the middle. Obviously Nathan was the best in this one, but I beat Matt :)

Here are the results from the 45s that we shot. Mine were the ones farthest away from hitting any target. It was pretty funny. Matt kicked my butt with these ones.

Campfire

So Jon, in WQ3, wanted to go do a bonfire up in Provo Canyon. So we invited people, loaded up and went. Here is Matt and Scott roasting some stuff. The boys told everyone to bring something creative to cook—so you can see here that we have bacon on some sticks.

It started hailing when we were up there. Giant drops of it. It was pretty sweet.

Kickball Team

Yeah. That’s right…we got second! Who would have guessed it would be kickball that would win the most intramural games? :) Here is the team

Recent Injuries

I got this sweet injury from doing a back one and a half the other day. It was so painful that I cried for a long time and could not even be touched on my back. Turns out I popped a blood vessel or something. :O

These two are from kickball. I keep reopening the wound on my knee and this is the first time that it has not looked disgustingly bloddy. The last one is my hip, also from sliding on the astroturf at the kickball games. Who knew it was so violent. But, mine are not nearly as bad as others on the team. But, it was worth it as we got second.

Group Date

 

The group. Jeff, Chrissy, Ryan, Nicole ( i think), Millie, Scott (who is hiding) and Matt. We made waffles and ate them and chatted before we started the scavenger hunt.

Hiking the Y—Again

So my friend Mark really wanted to hike the Y so we got a group together to go and do it before Family Home evening. We made it there and back in a little more than an hour.

I don’t know if you can tell right now—but they are really excited. Matt, Mark, Derek, and Scott.

Scott Unicycled the entire way down the trail. It was pretty much amazing. He wasn’t even sore after. Incredible!
